Let's start about the book "A Series of Unfortunate Events".
This story is consists of 13 books and very very dark.
Baudelaire children are born in a family which has enormous fortune,but their parents perished in a fire and become orphans.
They fight against Count Olaf who intend to steal Baudelaire fortune with their knowledges,powers they have.
Basically each book has it's own story, but Olaf's organization always work behind the scene.

As you can see in the title of the book, misfortunes happen the orphans one after another.
They are betrayed, friends die,,, they narrowly escape at the very end of each story.
I have to admit that the sense of humor is different from us, but this is one of the best-sellers in English community,so it's good to follow the story.

The first story of the series is played by full casts, so you can enjoy the audiobook as if watching a movie.
If you have a problem in continueing listening to audiobooks, this series is good for you.


Now the difficulty of the interview.
I rated it from beginner to advanced people.
The contents of the story is included (a few minutes) and this is good to evaluate if you want to listen to the audiobook.
From this point, I rated this audiobook "from beginner".

On the other hand, this interview was held over the phone.
Therefore, it is a bit more difficult to understand the talk than usual conversation.
The meaning of the rating " till advanced" is considering this point.
However, beginners can also enjoy the interview, you can know how native speakers speak in daily life not for text books.

They talk about the motibation of the book, what Lemony Snicket think about the opinion that the story is too dark as a fantasy, stories while creating the audiobooks etc.
